Zelda II - The Adventure of Link Video Walkthrough - Part 10
Part of of Zelda II for the NES. We get a fresh start, finish Palace 3, and cross the ocean on a raft. Don't try that at home, kids.\n\nCommentary:\n0:02 - That number there under your name is how many times you've saved the game. You can end your game at any time by pausing and pressing Up+A+Start on the second player controller (or something like that.)\n0:32 - Oops. These are graveyard enemies, and there's a VERY good reason you don't mess with them...which should be evident. And if they don't look too hard, try the invisible ones later in the game.\n0:41 - Wha? No fooling, I did not know about this Red Jar before I made this video. See, even I learn things while doing these.\n1:53 - Back again...Some backtracking, so you can probably fast forward. Note all the doors I opened earlier are still open.\n5:18 - That's right. I died right before the boss room. \n5:25 - Where the bloody heck is he...?\n5:31 - Ah, there he is! Ironknauk. You need to downthrust him as he rides by to knock him off his horse. Or, you can cheat...stand on the right side of the screen, and he won't fully clear the side of the screen before he rests for his next pass. Then you can downthrust to your heart's content. Once he's down to half health, he jumps off and becomes a normal blue Ironknuckle, except he's super-agressive and likes to back himself off the screen when you advance (so you can't attack him). There's no real good way to go after this guy, so just fight him like a normal one, but when he walks offscreen ,back away to let him come back on before charging again.\n6:25 - Cleared! Could have planned the experience thing better, but honestly, I'm just happy to get out of there. Palace 3 is hard enough if you ask me. Now, let's go rafting.\n7:22 - Let's pick up a 1-up first. \n7:45 - Gah! No roads! We have our first encounter with Tektites...which are immune to your sword! Just run for now.\n7:58 - Yeah, this just screamed secret, didn't it? P-Bag in here. Those ghosts can only be hit with their eyes open. \n8:16 - Nabooru? She was pretty cool. \n8:28 - The healers say different things here.\n8:45 - Really? O-kay...\n8:52 - Yep. There's your puzzle. She couldn't even walk ONE SCREEN to get it?\n8:55 - See? Thirsty Girl is on the SAME DAMN SCREEN as the water! I mean, I can understand a lost mirror being closer than you though, but was it really necessary to waste my time walking 10 feet? I got heroing to do here!\n9:25 - At least I get a decent spell out of the deal. It's cheap, lets you hit things at range, and can kill enemies immune to your sword (like those Tektites). The really strong enemies are still immune to it, though.
