10You ever have an idea that's just a slam dunk? Like, a perfect idea, that doesn't seem to have a possible downside? But then, for some reason or another...it slowly seems to crumble, a little bit at a time, until eventually your great idea, which is still a great idea, turns into something that's better off in the garbage bin.
What I just described is Garfield: Caught in the Act, a game that on the surface was a perfect idea, a fun platformer starring one of the most popular cartoon characters in the world as he goes through multiple parodies of various genres of movies and tv shows. And they even had buy in from Jim Davis and Paws, Inc. to get the game off the ground! But, as I discuss in the review, what should have been a sure fire hit, unfortunately mutated into a near bomb.
