Have ya got Ballz?

....sorry. I know that's a lame intro, but I had to. Anyway, this week's game is Ballz 3D from Accolade and PF Magic for the Genesis. Ballz 3D is a 3D fighting game for a 2D console...and...well, you can imagine how that might have issues. However, I've got to say, it's pretty impressive to see this run on the Genesis, knowing the consoles' limitations. Don't get me wrong, it's not a great game...but it's not as bad as I was expecting, and that's always a nice surprise. I definitely recommend checking this out if you're curious how a 3D fighter would work on the Genesis, a system that didn't even have the Mode 7 functionality of the Super Nintendo.
