After finishing the nuclear power plant, I'm back to building more production lines in Satisfactory. Today we are starting up aluminum production that will eventually produce batteries and turbo motors.

However, first we check in on the nuclear power plant. It is up to full power, and we are now producing over 375,000 MWh of power. We then check out how much radiation is being produced. We find that there is no radiation when standing on the platform where the train stops are, but standing on a train, there is a small amount of radiation. While that isn't ideal, it shouldn't cause any issues if we ride a train past the power plant. Additionally, the amount of nuclear waste produced so far is minimal, so we won't have to deal with it for quite a while.

For the aluminum production, we are going to need to bring in bauxite and quartz in order to produce the alclad aluminum sheets. The quartz in combined with limestone to produce silica, and the silica and bauxite is combined to produce aluminum ingots. That is then combined with copper ingots to make the alclad sheets.

So the rest of this episode is spend setting up 3 bauxite mines and 2 quartz mines. The bauxite is mainly found in the newly finished red forest in the center of the map. We select 3 pure nodes, and set up mk 3 miners on them. For the quartz, there happens to be a cave in the north west desert that has one pure and one normal quartz node. We set up miners there as well, so we are prepared for starting production in the next episode.
