The 5-pin DIN cable used for power (+/-5VDC and +12VDC) was a bit dodgy so I made a new one.

It's okay ... thinking of just buying an extension cable with 5-pin DIN socket and chopping the other end off ... this will be a nice, brand new, properly moulded cable.

I'm not too sure about the video output ... it appears to be RGB but has a "video" output (not synch?) ... so not sure how it works at the moment.

Of course, it could be the machine also needs some repair.

The design doesn't help troubleshooting, having the keyboard on one side and motherboard on the other (underside).

Let's see. I'll have a look at the Partner 01.01 I've got (mostly) working ... another Soviet 8080-clone machine.
