Game only released in Japan. Text is Japanese but dialogue is English.

This is being played on an "Analogue Mega Sg" FPGA game console allowing for clear output in sound and audio! The video provided to YouTube is 4:4:4 and lossless! Details below in Technical Notes!

Be warned that this level is gonna get Mega colorfully garish later on!

So this level starts with a boss which is abnormal. just touching him hurts and being an autoscroller it can be hard to stay outta his way! If you want to be cheap, though, you can cheese him by repeatedly Back Spin Kicking in the corner and taking advantage of the generous invincibility frames it provides.

As you've probably noticed by now, this game has a lot of slowdown. You'll see plenty of it with all the breakable blocks near the end of the stage.

Okay! Let's talk about some of the items in the game!

All those balls lying around? They are Spark Balls as Beatrice helpfully reminds you upon pick up. Collect ten and you get an extra life!

The "1-Up" containers? Extra Life!

The Heart containers? "Energy Repair"! One level of health gain! You have three levels: Blue then Yellow then Red. After red, you're dead!

And the bolt in a bottle is Voltec Energy and lets you remain in a permanent Sparkling State for the rest of the screen. You can effectively fly around if you wish!

Technical Notes:
------
You can read the full text in the description of the first video in this series.

TL;DR: YouTube was provided a perfect video so pixels are sharp and shapes are correct. Audio is "high resolution" compared to a Genesis system due to no processing constraints. Watch in 4k or 1440p if your computer can handle it.
