The brawler is a fearsome enemy who often causes whole opposing sides to fly for cover. Basically, the opposite of the Displacer, she can pull the largest ships halfway across the board, away from their teammates, and into some very close-range pain.
The downside to this ship is the harpoon can be very hard to land and if you miss with it the Brawler becomes very one dimensional at all but close range.
Tip: The way to beat the Brawler is the same as with any bully, you punch him square in the nose! When she harpoons you, don't panic, immediately fire and don't stop! Those long and medium range shots as you close range are the difference between life and death. If she has a friend, you are toast!
As the Brawler if your enemy is astute enough to take this tip, you should immediately begin turning shields.
