{The Orel (Eagle) is a Soviet/Post-Soviet Ukrainian ZX Spectrum clone running the East German (DDR) clone of the Z80.

(Disclaimer: assuming Ukrainian independence in August 1991, the two examples I have were built after this, however the machine was obviously designed prior to independence)

It has several interfaces, all DIN of course: RGB output, cassette interface and two joysticks. It also has a cartridge-type port in the top of the case for the expansion interface.

Interestingly it requires a single +24VDC input ... mmm-kay.

The keyboard is quite similar to the one on the Робик (Robik), also from Ukraine.

I have two of these machines and one power supply. One machine doesn't seem to boot (no red power LED), and the other does power on but has missing ROMs.

So some further work to be done: create a video cable, check the schematics, install appropriate ROMs.
