This simple, little Soviet-era calculator was released in 1979. It can run on three AA batteries or via an AC adaptor (model D2-10M). The AC adaptor is rated at 5V and 0.1A, however it consists of just a transformer, four diodes and a smoothing capacitor ... no regulation. So it actually outputs around 8VDC.

Note: this is using a 240VAC supply ... it was designed for a 220VAC system, hence why the unregulated DC output voltage is higher than 5V.

The calculator circuitry is pretty simple: a К145ИП11 (K145IP11) processor, a К514КТ1 for the display, and a Я154 (Ya154) voltage transformer.

The calculator has a date stamp of "X 79" (October 1979?) and the capacitor in the PSU has "1283" (December 1983), so I suspect the PSU is not the one that originally came with this particular example.
