This is the first segment of the SDA run on Super Mario 64 DS.

2014 edit:
Years has gone passed since this run existed and a better run can be done in around 1:19. Various reasons include:

1) DS capture device. The runs are now directly recorded. This enables the players to play the game without having to use an insane camera setup to show the footage in good quality.

2) Less saves = more time saved. If you save the game and end the segment, you warp back outside the castle entrance, this costs a bit of time than entering a course and use "Exit course" command.

3) Faster strats/route = A faster route is probably possible thanks to having more people speed running the game. The more brains you have in a community, the faster the polish rate of having a good speed run.

This one was quite an easy segment. I save after getting the key because I don't have to go through the 2 minute introduction and the different starting position after save warping is minimal.
