Dual-booting Windows 10 and Linux is secure but with precautions
It is to some extent unlikely that you would be affected by all the above-mentioned dual-booting risks. Nevertheless, at least one, or rather two, is likely to happen in some instances. But nothing here should discourage you from dual booting. One key thing to be well versed with is setting up your system correctly to help mitigate or avoid these rising issues. On the other hand, backing up data on both partitions also proves to be a wise solution, but you should take this as a precaution when you go the dual-booting route.
