It's happening. All the things, all perfect, no checkpoints.
Here's the score - triple perfects on every playable level in the game, including all bonus content and, yes, the credits. That means:
1. High object density
2. All golds collected
3. All power-ups collected
4. No checkpoints
5. No stair assist

I'm going for all achievements, but chances are some of the community achievements will be left over, depending on the popularity of any levels I make in the level editor. Plus, I think there's an achievement for liking 100 Community-made levels, which I can't see happening unless I just go for a bunch of easy ones.

Let's get this out of the way now: @ChoiceProvisions nailed this. It's awesome and a fantastic homage to the RUNNER series. I played and beat BIT.TRIP RUNNER a couple of years ago ( https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8B7fffG3eYLIqLFYT3DCimAg_wfdkgoO&si=ld_FcgzzVYwJDjf- ), getting all golds in the main levels, but not the Retro challenges (maybe someday...). So when I saw RERUNNER was a thing, I was pretty hyped.
I didn't know whether the game was a reskin of RUNNER or more an homage to it; I was pleased it was the latter, and even more pleased when I saw the former was included as a bonus campaign.
The addition of new abilities perturbed me somewhat; I was concerned they'd be gimicky and ruin the flow of levels. But the level designers implemented them really well, using them sparingly enough but reminding the player they're there. Kudos of that. Of course, they do then throw the kitchen sink at you in the later levels, but that was just part of the charm of the game from the get-go.
One big improvement (aside from better difficulty options and checkpoints other players clamoured for) was the boss levels. The first and second were, I think, big improvements on the lacklustre battles from the first game, but they were significantly harder, in my view. The third boss was enjoyable originally, and here it's even better. And the boss music is soooooo much better, ratcheting up the tension and actually enjoyable to hear, unlike the dullness in RUNNER.
