That would've been pretty boring for people to read, but we're hoping it helped somebody find us who is searching for gameplay of this game that they can watch with their kid. Because, you know, watching video games with your kid can be a really nice way to have some family time!
The Basement aren't afraid of Mario Maker levels that are expert difficulty or super expert difficulty, although they'll play easy and normal levels as well. Some levels are made by kids, some levels are submitted via Reddit, and some come from Facebook. Some of the Facebook levels are from a group that does a 12-item challenge every other week where they all make levels limited to 12 particular items of the group's choosing.
The dual commentary is a treat. They riff off of each other, compliment each other, insult each other, encourage each other, and finish each other's sandwiches. It's a good old time.
Super Mario Maker supports making levels using the following games:
Super Mario Bros 1 (SMB1),
Super Mario Bros 3 (SMB3),
Super Mario World (SMW), and
New Super Mario Bros U (NSMBU)
and features the following areas in each game:
Overworld, Underworld, Underwater, Ghost House, Airship and Bowser's Castle.
