A quiet and late stream, after the game I started playing (JULIA) began freezing repeatedly before I even got into the gameplay! I had this decent little port of an NES game lying around, and the floppy still works, so we try that. Tom and Jerry isn't as hard as a lot of Nintendo games, but it would take a bit of practice to beat! I make it to the fourth world. This port was made by Hi-Tech Expressions, who also made the Beetlejuice game we played for Spooktober.
Highlights include discovering an NES within the game (you have to use a Nintendo joypad to move forward) and some extrapolating stories from the game about how evil and villainous Tom truly is. Or maybe Jerry. These cartoons could tell some much broader and darker stories! I then call out the makers of another game I tried to play tonight for their illegible manual in the most irate terms possible. YOU KNOW what you did c. 1990,, Live Studios. And it wasn't nice.
