2002 Minneapolis EA Sports 250cc Supercross Championship (Round 7 of 16)
This is round 7 of the 2002 EA Sports 250cc Supercross Championship from the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, MN. This is the 2nd of only 9 250cc Supercross races from 2002 that I have.
Returning 250cc contenders like David Vuillemin, 250cc rookies Travis Pastrana, Nathan Ramsey and Ernesto Fonseca, 250cc sophomore Stephane Roncada, Ezra Lusk, Tim Ferry, Mike LaRocco, 7-time Supercross champ Jeremy McGrath, Kevin Windham, Sebastien Tortelli, and defending champ Ricky Carmichael battle it out for the 2002 EA Sports 250cc Supercross Championship. This is Travis Pastrana's, Ernesto Fonseca's, and Nathan Ramsey's rookie Supercross seasons. Jeremy Mcgrath finishes off the podium for the first time in the Metrodome with a 6th place finish after leading at one point in the race. Mike LaRocco is forced to the sidelines for the season with a broken right wrist after a collision with Travis Pastrana in the main (after having to qualify for the main through the LCQ). Team Honda's Sebastien Tortelli races for the first time in 2002 after a shoulder injury sidelined him for the first 6 races of the year.
Enjoy.
