Apparently Jupiter Hell is going to be a 4-way movement roguelike due to laptops not having numpads, and that limiting accessible 8-way movement. This got me thinking about other ways to do 8-way movement, including setting it up like a shooter, where WASD and combinations of keys produce 8 directions of movement.
