For those who don’t know, GR stands for GAZOO Racing which is Toyotas racing division. And it seems like this is a brand they want to roll out onto the Toyota line up and this could be the start of that.

Exterior:
Starting off with the looks, everyone makes the joke is a re bodied z4 and while it is true I think this car looks so good in person. I honestly was not a fan of the looks when first launched but I love the curves. First, the front lights are so well integrated into the front bumper. Not to mention, these full LED headlights do have auto-leveling technology. While the front sensors look a little awkward, I think the its worth the trade off with the amazing lines which make this car look like nothing on the road today. While we are on the front, I do want to bring up the fake vents. There are a significant amount, and my opinion is that they are excessive, BUT they add depth to the car that would be missing if they just put body paneling, its added value is the aesthetic it gives in my opinion and for that I am ok with it. I still think they can could have made at least some of them functional.

Going on to the hood, this massive aluminum hood is my favorite panel of this car. Just check out how awesome it looks once its open.
Moving to the side of the car, you have the 19” two tone fordged aluminum wheels. Which are a great stock options. Although im sure there are tons of options in the aftermarket, I wouldn’t mind keeping these if I owned the car. This specific car is optioned with the carbon fiber mirror caps which is a great touch. Going on the side door you do have a phaux vent which is built into the door and again although not functional, it does a great job making this car look wide and I sure it gives opportunity to those who want to design a wide body kit for this.
Lastly, going around the back, the integrated spoiler looks buttery smooth and I love how it flars up just enough. Honestly, I love the rear. The way the tail lights jut out of the body and the surrounding panel just warps around it makes me forgive the fake vents honestly. The rear f1 inspired light in the back is a great touch and I think the dual exhaust is classy and the rear diffuser is aggressive enough. I honestly have very little bad things to say abou this car because I am just obsessed with the looks. There is 1 quirk. You can only open the trunk from the key fob or inside the car. THERE IS NO BUTTON. And although the hatch is great, it seems like an oversight. They really could have easily fit on right above the license plate section.

Ok going on the inside this is where it most resembles the BMW, The premium trim here has amazing quality leather and was perfectly bolstered for someone my size.. and while im not a fan of the steering wheel, I like the size of it. The infotainment system is really a reskinned version of bmw Idrive And the same goes for the climate controls but hey it works so who really cares. I am a fan of the gauge cluster and how there is a digital tach front and center. But what I love THE MOST about this inside is NOT the weird looking subwoofer grills, BUT, the carbon fiber center console area. And while there is no practical storage area here. The way this is molded and the quality of the finish gives this car such a special look and feel.
