Alright so I hung out with my friend for a day and got to drive his Subaru wrx. We started out in a parking lot and we made the “how to drive manual” video which I will link in the description below if you want to see it. Once that was done, I got all that delicious broll so we can talk about all the specs and my thoughts. To get that out of the way lets go through it. I know at least half of you guys watching know that this is powered by a
2.0 L turbo flat 4
HP:268 hp
Torque: 258 lb ft
It is mated to a six speed manual transmission and in this specific vehicle, there is the STI short shifter and shift nob. Annnd don’t worry we did a cold stard. Once we got it on the road the first thing I did was stall it.… needless to say it was definitely an awkward experience coming from just talking about how to drive this manual transmission vehicle and explaining how the hill hold on this car works.
But after I got the hang of it… kinda we went down some nice roads along the water and we talked about the drivability. Long story short… it is daily drivable.
Now this is where it got fun, we launched it… and boy was that fun. Soo we did it again. Once we smelt some clutch we went on to the twistes. How was it? Well ill let these clips speak for themselves.
My favorite parts of the car after driving it that day was hearing the turbos spool up, seeing the boost gauge, and enjoying what symmetrical all wheel drive and this manual transmission package have to offer. I know there are endless videos out there talking about this car and its features and figured id share my experience as it really shows that this car is a great reason to go on a drive with your buddy and just enjoy it. Now that we are all at home, I do want to let you know that this is all the car reviews I have left to film.
