2022 BMW M3 VS BMW M3 E36: The BEST M Cars Made!!
47👋 In todays head to head comparison, we take a look at the latest generation for the BMW M3!! The sixth generation 2022 BMW M3 Competition, which also offers a non competition model and put it up against the second generation BMW M3 E36! An iconic sportscar from back in the day!
The 2022 BMW M3 Competition has the M sport automatic transmission and is such a cool performance sedan! I love how the new 2022 BMW M3 has new styling and an aggressive look! The front bumper has the vertical kidney grilles and honestly looks really cool especially with the rest of the contoured lines throughout the rest of the car! The front end is the most aggressive with that design, but it flows nicely to the hood and the rest of the body! The G80 2022 BMW M3 shifts very quick and there are different setting to choose from depending on your driving style! A manual transmission is also available for this family sedan, but you have to get the non-competition model!
The 2nd generation BMW M3 is very dated by modern standards with the headlights and taillights especially, there's no denying that this BMW has a great design though along with features like the carbon fiber, side skirt design for aerodynamics along with the massive fixed wing! On the interior, the door panel is completely stripped and two straps are provided to close and open the door!
As far as being a practical sportscar, this was it for back in this era! A two door, four seater with trunk space, you can daily this car and have the practicability you need, along with the performance you want! This model isn't as quick as the modern version by any means, but it's light weight, handles well and is such a blast to drive! I don't know if this had an aftermarket exhaust, but it sounded great!
Obviously these two BMW sportscars are far in years, but retain some similar characteristics and designs! The biggest change is that the BMW M3 is no longer a coupe. The fourth generation offered a coupe, sedan and convertible and it eventually became just a sedan, so if you want a coupe, you need the M4! Honestly both are super fun to drive and it was cool to see the differences between these years!
