In the 24th video in my project, I will share 3 of my favourite Karakuri DIY projects.

The first one is the Urashima box with an eye catching red string securing the cover. However even if you untie the string, the box remains locked. The trick is to pull the string on both ends to unlock a latch mechanism to open the box.

The second one is my favourite build, the spin box. The mechanism is a classic as the name suggests, to open the box, one have to give it a spin, and the box can be opened.

The last one is the ninja box, this tree shape is not a button. If you shake the box sideways swiftly, the tree changes colour into green, then the drawer is unlocked and can be slid out.
