19:21 - What are your top Final Fantasy Games?

Gonna try keep this to a maximum of 1minute on each game, we'll see how long that lasts. This tier list is entirely subjective, but tell me I'm wrong anyway, - let me know your top games in the comments. And it's been a while since I've played some of the old Nintendo games, to be fair a lot of them came to the UK late, and sorry in advance to any FF13 fans.
Let's start.

Okay, Final Fantasy VIII, we're starting with one of the controversial ones. This is a Final Fantasy with tons of flaws, the complicated and unbalanced junction system, the draw system, level scaling, but you know what? I love it, despite all the bad it's still excellent.
8 is different, we're in a Military school going on missions, but it still has that classic Final Fantasy feel and world to it.
I personally love experimenting with the junction system, and there's lots of optional guardian forces to earn and acquire like brothers from Tomb of the Unknown king, or Bahamut from the underwater facility. Really satisfying hunting down all the gfs and making use of their unique abilties.
Love Triple Triad the card game aswell, and it's awesome you can convert cards into useful items using Guardian Forces.
The core story themes of 8 are love, war, and time. I think the story is a little weaker once you've complete disc 2 of 4 and time travel starts getting involved. While side characters are not quite developed as much as they should be, Zell, Quistis, Irvine, and Selphie.
But I love it, Don't think it deserves an S for all it's flaws, I'm gonna give it an A which I imagine is a bit higher than what most people would give it. And I think I've already gone over the 1minute limit.

Final Fantasy XI, oof it's unfair to compare MMOs against single player games. This is the first MMORPG I ever played, so this already has a special place for me.
I played the base game, and expansions, Rise of the Zilart, Chains of Promathia, Treasures of Aht Urghan, the game kind of fell off for me with Wings of the Goddess.
Storytelling is great, for a MMORPG there's a high quality story here, pity it wasn't voice acted.
11 is my kind of MMO - it was really grindy and slow but it really focused in on it's massively multiplayer element, from about level 10 onwards you have to play game in a group.
I remember parties could skill chain their abilities together which created explosions or magic bursts, mages could time their spells into the magic bursts to create really powerful party combos.
In general it just feel like a living world, with dungeons integrated into the world itself, and airship or boat rides where random pirates or krakens can attack. If you've played you probably know what I'm talking about and what it's like to hide for your life inside the ferry and pray the kraken or pirates don't get you, because you lose 10% of your experience points on death and can actually level down.
Back in 2004, what I thought was impossibly hard then, if I replayed it now I'd probably find it a lot easier now - everyone is so much better at MMOs these days and there's so many better resources and guides readily available.
I loved how endgame was always relevant - Sky, Sea, Odin stuff - they didn't throw away or make older content useless with every patch.
Just because I've played it so much and had a pretty awesome experience, this has to be an S rank for me - at least pre-Seekers of Adoulin - I Don't like how that expansion changes the game up.
If I played 11 today - it wouldn't be an S rating even with the great story, but this is a rating for the experience I had in this game's time. Annnnd... Definetly went over a minute with this one.
