2MD VR Football - VR Gameplay Valve Index
8Again, from the perspective of a non-football player/viewer/fan of any kind. That was a blast. It was very easy to get into the action. The sheer ridiculousness of the fake players bobbing and bumbling around added a level of comedy that made the game much more approachable while still having a decent level of difficulty and competitiveness.
Both visually and in the audio department there's noting spectacular going on here but there's also nothing to complain about. Completely satisfactory and fitting the spirit of the game. I couldn't help but have memories of my previous job and our lunch time smash tournaments while listening to the announcer though. Not a bad thing while we're all Corona quarantined...
The spectator cam was a nice touch but I wish it had alternated between my view and the spectator view at least a little bit. That being said, I'm not going to fault Truant for adding in a spectator mode when very few devs do this. Thank you Truant. On that same note, I'm sorry I didn't get footage of the first person experience.
Fun, funny, challenging, competitive and a decent work out while we're all stuck inside. A pretty winning combination from 2MD: VR Football. Definitely a thumbs up on this one whether your a football fan or not.
