GTFO VR Mod - VR Gameplay Valve Index
33Fun and challenging but I hate the matchmaking. Likely wouldn't continue playing due to having to sit around in Discord waiting on a group.
Have to say, I'm pretty proud of myself for not cracking a single Corona joke. Well aside from this joke that is my quarantine hair...
The mod itself though was great for where it's at in development.
The primary issue I saw was that the IPD settings weren't quite right. Some things were blurry, out of focus or just double visioned such that I couldn't really make them out. This seems like something that just needs some tweaking. The game was definitely still playable.
There were also some bits of text and UI elements that were far too high/low to be easily seen in headset.
I would love to see:
Settings modifiable in game.
Weapon angle adjustments.
Two handed griping via the grip that latches onto the weapon.
A bit less sensitivity on the grips for the Index controllers.
A better visual of what is displayed on your watch.
Point and click rather than using the stick to mouse around.
A lot of those are nice to haves. This once again is just version 0.4. A very much in development plugin. Definitely worth checking out if you're into GTFO and VR.
