3 Terrible Games Everyone Seemed To Own For the NES
Back in the 80s, They were games everybody seemed to own for their Nintendo entertainment System. Super Mario Bros, Mario 2, Mario 3 were commonplace. Tetris, Dr Mario, Punch Out, these were all in everybody's houses. But there were also some really bad games that for some reason everybody seemed to own as well. Let's take a look at some of the really bad games that for some reason everybody had in their collection.
Number Three
Airwolf
In the 1980s, big action television shows were all the rage. as such, games based on these action television shows were also the rage. One company seemed to be behind them, and their releases were terrible. I'm talking about the companies that made both Airwolf and Knight Rider. while these were fantastic TV shows, truly must see TV, they were terrible games. sure, they had the main themes, they had the characters. but they did not play well and they honestly were not much fun. but everybody had them.
Number Two:
Elevator Action
I always thought Elevator Action had a bit of a Spy versus Spy feel to it, and the arcade version was actually pretty decent. The home game on the NES, however, was not. The action was slow, the music was repetitive, and overall I feel like the fun of the arcade version is definitely missing from the NES port. but again, everybody seem to have it. Why did we all have this? It's such a bad game!
Number One
T&C Surf Design
Rollerblading, roller skating, skateboarding, and surfing were all the rage in the 1980s. For This reason, video games with those same activities were also very popular. We had Skate or Die which was a really good game, and T&C Surf Design tried to copy paste with Skate or Die, and they failed miserably. The play control wasn't very good, the events were not fun, and install this game failed at being a good game. But again, EVERYONE seemed to have a copy. WHY?!?! HOW?!?! I'm not sure but I think grandparents thought they'd be hip and with it to give grandkids such a gnarly game. They were wrong.
