Perhaps one of the greatest beat'em up games of all time has to be the original Double Dragon. Whether we're talking about the arcade version, the Sega Master System or the Nintendo Entertainment System, it is an absolutely brilliant game. It's also brilliantly difficult too. But this is where certain cheats come into play where you can make the game easier in a hurry. Let's show you exactly how you can go ahead and get full hearts and max power before the end of level 2 the easiest way possible on the original Double Dragon on the NES.

To pull off this trick, you have to get through the first few enemies in the level. There are a couple guys that will jump-kick at you, throw boxes at you, swing baseball bats at you, and even chuck dynamite at you. You'll come to an area where you have to climb a fence to get over a gap. Defeat the enemy at the top of the gap, and climb down. Slowly navigate to the right and two more enemies will spawn. Do not fight them. This is where the trick comes into play.

When both enemies come onto the screen, have them follow you towards the end of the I-beams on the ground just to the right of the fence. Once they are here, climb the fence and proceed to go back to the left. Climb down, and go a little bit more to the left. Once you've done this, you can head back to the right. If you took note of where the enemies were standing before you headed back to the left you should be able to start throwing kicks and punches where the enemies were standing but no longer are. Once you start punching or kicking you should notice that your score is going up, but there's nobody there. You get to beat up the enemy, he never dies, and never fights back, and as long as you have time left you can get full power right here. This way it makes the rest of the game a whole lot easier.
