26th September 1943 - The Soviets are on the move again! After their previous attempts to cross the Dnieper were repusled, the Russians have massed for a new assault aimed at crossings near Kremenchug. My objective is to hold on to as many objectives as I can for as long as I can. If I must, I have permission to withdraw from the East Bank of the Dnieper, but no further! While the Soviets have amassed a huge battery of artillery guns to aid their assault, these units are currently vulverable to counter-attack. If I strike quickly, I may be able to destroy quite a few of the enemy's artillery assets before the Soviet attack begins in earnest. Moreover we have received reports of several barges being loaded on the far bank of the river, so I have to be on guard against a possible amphibious landing due Northwest of Kremenchug proper.

Difficulty is set to Rommel and we are trying to do a blind run with a historical unit composition. I will explain some advanced tactics and my thougths about different strategic approaches.
