9This video is just me going over the Astrocomms PCB that I ruined by shoving around 24v into the 5v connection. Not much to learn here, other than making sure your voltages are correct before hooking up any expensive parts.

Dead Arduino Nano
Dead DFPlayer Mini MP3 player
Dead ATMEGA 328P - surface mount package
Dead AMS 1117 3.3v voltage regulator - surface mount package
There may well be additional surface mounted components that fried but I haven't bothered checking them since I don't think I can save the board anyway.
