R2 is 'born' today! At least as far as I'm concerned he is. Today I have successfully connected the parts and tested that I can link the PlayStation controllers to the Arduino Mega 2560, send commands through them both into the MP3 Trigger and hear the output from the speaker connected to the amplifier. Bonus points awarded for being able to connect my phone/tablet to the ESP8266 module and also send commands.

I haven't tested any servos yet, although I did toy with the idea of bringing one of my RC cars in from the garage and briefly hooking up a steering servo:)

Next step is to start working on getting things mounted to a test board so I can make sure everything fits together and wires route properly before transferring the openings on the test board to a cutting board.
