3D Vision Gameplay [Part #4] - Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Note: This is a stereoscopic 3D video. Aside from various VR options, YouTube support for non-2D content is limited these days. Playing this video directly from the browser with the actual hardware being used to record it - i.e. NVIDIA's 3D Vision - is no longer possible. However, you can download the video file using third-party software and watch it offline.
The third entry in the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy can look about as good in stereoscopic 3D as its predecessors, although the game's many dark dungeons and other poorly lit areas does make large chunks of it less ideally suited for S3D (a problem compounded by the fact that 3D Vision itself reduces the brightness of all games).
I finished both TR 2013 and Rise of the Tomb Raider but never got very far in SoTR. There's a rather off-putting "Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom" vibe to this unexpectedly dour third-person action puzzler, and I personally found the South American setting much less compelling than the wind-swept Japanese island and Siberian ruins of the earlier installments.
