I forgot that I learned long ago that I can't use Goro Daimon's special moves, and do best with him when I just punch, kick, and use his regular throws. I forgot that I *never* figured out '98 Robert Garcia, and thought I could just play him like a shoto. Haha! And that left my Shermie, whom I did remember that I play simply (not actually having ever learned her moves helps with that...), with a bit too much wood to carry on her own.
And darn that Clark!
So this was rough! But eh let's call it a learning experience...hopefully:
So this is me attempting to play The King of Fighters '98, the version called "NeoGeo Mode" in The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match on PS2, on the highest difficulty setting, with supers turned off and not continuing (except one time where I get wiped out in the first match because if you haven't even got anywhere it isn't really continuing, in my head anyway):
0:00 - start
0:30 - run 1
11:20 - run 2
14:49 - run 3 (stage 1 continue :P)
22:44 - run 4
34:05 - run 5
47:25 - wrap-up & what's next!
Sure sign of overthinking things: doing okay in the first run--not trying to think yet--then a lot worse in the next two. : P
Oh okay the last time I played '98 was with Daimon and Shermie as well. ; ) My "random" team generating script...--what are the odds??
