4:00 I realized that you don't really need to populate the village until you need it.
9:00 Rulebook is vague about light/penalty.
11:00 more succinctly:
1. NET DARKNESS == the RANK of the dungeon hall the monster is in plus any darkness modifiers on the monster card.
2. NET RANK = Subtract your light from the NET DARKNESS value.
3. Under that NET RANK read the printed penalty value.
4. Add to the monster defense that -penalty value.
Was that really so hard to write down?
IMPORTANT: I will figure out everything about this game. It just takes a little time and you will go through the same process when learning the game.
