000:00 CONTENT: Darkness vs Penalty confusion - very important
00:10 Best watched at 1.25x speed.
0:20 "How does the dungeon start in solo mode?"
A: empty! unless you play hardcore, which you shouldn't do in your first game.
0:50 "What is darkness and penalty and how the hell does it work?"
A: net darkness is based on darkness row and is either 0,1,2, or 3. for the net darkness, go down on it the penalty is what gets added to the defense of the monster.
1:40 wrong. it doesn't cancel but it sure does mitigate, you move 2 to the left in case you have 2 light.
2:10 wrong. It means exactly that. But the example was not very clear.
2:30 for some stupid reason it was listed under "DARKNESS penalty". As if there are other penalties, which is not the case. Terminology entries should follow the board icon terms.
4:00 And no, the rulebook fails to explain that, you have to deduce from the example, which is essential. As it was in Concordia, and I hate it when rules are hidden in examples.
5:00 "Left by light, then down for bonus to monster defense"
7:00 wrap paper strips on groups of cards then write on them the divider title that they belong to in landscape form and on the backside in portrait. That way you can put them back in fast.
7:38 only heroes have levels, and it goes without saying that you sort them.
8:19 I still think we should remove a copy of each the hero card per level to mimic more the frequency of multiplayer. Also that way you can run out of cards.
9:30 also, storing them back-to-back negates any tendency of cards to bend.
You really do not want bent cards. And originally they were bent as they had been for ages in the box, it's a natural process.
