New Year's Eve and New Year are very important holidays in Japan, and we do a lot of traditional things like eating New Year soba noodles and ozoni.
Kohaku utagassen is still quite popular in Japan and it's often the most watched TV programme of the year. If I spend New Year's Eve in Japan, I will probably watch kohaku :)
