596: Capcom vs. SNK Pro \\ Dreamcast \\ (EX) Boxer & Kim play-through!
0Playing through Arcade Mode of Capcom vs. SNK: Millionaire Fighting 2001 on Dreamcast with the team of EX Boxer (kind of) and Kim Kaphwan! I say "kind of" about Boxer because when I was kind of salty while continuing against the boss I kept forgetting to hold Start so I actually finished the game as the non-EX version--although that didn't particularly matter I don't think because I can't even do his fancier moves! : P

EX Boxer seems to just have less moves than Boxer: EX has the two back-forward charge moves, the turn punch, and his back-forward-forward-back-forward super, and that's it; regular also has these weird back-down-forward charge moves (??) and a down-up charge move, and I'm not sure I can really do either of those with any reliability--I'm bad enough with just back-forward charge moves!
So basically I just pressed punch (every button is punch with him! : D) with him a lot, and that actually worked pretty well. : P So so far I don't mind Boxer in CvSP! Maybe if I raise the difficulty eventually that will start not to work anymore, I dunno.
I didn't like most of Kim's face-button colors, but the first two-button color I tried was a sort of root beer color, which was unusual and not too bad actually.
Kim's dive-kick is a quarter-circle-forward motion in this game--I think it's just down or something in KOF 2000 :p--but still was working, as it tends to in his games, probably a little better than it should have when spammed vs the boss. ; ) Other than that I'm not too sure what I'm doing with Kim, which is also pretty much par for the course with my Kims!
