I'm bored, so here's some random Minecraft stuff.
You may know these, you may not, I just found and thought of stuff I thought was cool.

#1: Chunk sizes
Pre-1.18 chunks were 256x16x16 segments of the world.
This would be 65,536 blocks, which is also one above the 16 bit integer limit.
Post-1.18 chunks are now 320x16x16 segments.
This now makes every chunk consist of 81,920 blocks, including air.
Expect some bigger world region file sizes down the line.

#2: Minecraft Version 1
The first version of Minecraft was created in only six days.
The first publicly available version was known as Minecraft Classic one day later.
It would take a 7 development phases,
and 2 years until we got the first "full release" of Minecraft.
This was also when the End was introduced, giving the game an actual ending.

#3: Minecraft Word of Mouth
Did you know 2/3 of Minecraft's early users first heard about the game through friends, or YouTube?
Minecraft only became as big as it did because of the free marketing it got from this.
It was during the rise of YouTube as well, and became it's own type of era on the platform.

#4: Chance of a Lifetime
Fun fact: the minecraft title screen has a one in 10,000 chance to mispell itself as Minceraft?
That's a 0.01% chance, lucky enough to get an average of around 26 knives in CSGO.
Try your luck, and check when you open your game,
at least this only costs the game price to attempt.

#5: Doesn't Exist
Technically Minecraft Bedrock Edition doesn't exist.
No version of Minecraft has the official title of "Bedrock Edition"
is only titled "Minecraft".
To avoid confusion, they instead changed the title of the java version to,
Minecraft: Java Edition.
The "Bedrock Edition" term comes from the codebase those versions run on,
being the Bedrock codebase, created instead with C++ for platforms that cannot run Java itself.

#6: Save a world
If you die in a Hardcore world, but don't exactly want to restart, or aren't exactly the most honest player,
you can save your world with this easy trick.
Respawn into spectator mode, and turn on cheats by opening to LAN.
Then just /gamemode survival and you're back.

Super easy!
