Testing to see if shit looks better when I leave the luma noise alone and just go ham on the chroma noise (ya know, YouTube compression being what it is).

The school bus being illegible is not a result of the noise reduction, it's because I was using a 360 degree shutter (1/60 for the English unit fanbois).

Also, for audio, I brutalized a SmallRig mic shock mount and made it into a shock mount plate (as opposed to a shock mount tube holder) and bolted the Zoom M4 to that, but I found out after shooting this that the bolts got jammed so it was very decidedly NOT acting as a shock mount (you can hear me fumblefucking with the camera). The M3 ended up being unusable because powering it off USB using the battery I have running the camera makes loud ground loop buzz on the camera audio (no surprise there) and breaks the "auto sync based on waveform" function in DaVinci Resolve. I don't feel like buying a shitload of AA cells and trying to shove them in my pocket when I go out. The M4 at least has timecode that works sometimes so I can record separates and use USB power.
