Swift Swurd, by Neil Thapen

Fencing roguelike is a really cool idea! I'm just concerned that not enough was done with it, and that the elements aren't fully realized. Making a little game out of each fight would be awesome, not to mention when you have to handle multiple enemies at once and fluidly swish that sword around. The breath meter acting as your stamina (and also as your life) is a nice touch, and the control scheme is effective enough at giving the player lots of freedom on what to do. To go further, I just want to see more things you can do with the sword, thereby allowing more to be done than backing each and every enemy into the wall and stabbing them clean through the heart. (Not that it isn't amazing imagery, but I judge these things primarily by their gameplay.)

I really hope to see more from this game, or at least from this concept. The actual action of combat is often abstracted in roguelikes, especially ASCII-based ones, and piecing it out such that every swing and thrust has its own consequences with regards to positioning and timing has a great potential to be incredible.
