We get yet more of a perspective on what caused the colony ship's steady, and quite tragic, decline. If only people had listened and acted in certain ways.... but that's all human history, really. We're going through afterwards, we know what happened, we know what all the outcomes were, and you can only ask 'how? how did it come to this?'

Unlike real life for the most part, though, we have it laid out before us, despite so much time having passed. That historical society would probably love to get these documents, too.

*Hyun-ae seems to be under the somewhat risky impression that, since I roll high-diplo characters and try to talk out our problems in most RPGs I play, that I'm actually good with talking. Well, uh. I just sort of kept hoping I didn't mess things up, because, and I'll emphasize this yet again, the writing is so good that we genuinely care for these characters.

Even *Mute, who's a stubborn, bigoted, gossiping, yadda yadda yadda, who we've known for a matter of days, is worth saving. She is dutiful, determined, principled (even if you disagree with those principles like we do), etc. That much is obvious, if only we could convince -her- of that.

Damnit, we're going to Earth, all three of us, and we're going to the beach. Or to the park, or the museum, or whatever. Anything that isn't fucking -this-.

AI waifus~ All we have to do is get there. And it seems the Investigator's on the mark this time because he's called ahead for an AI psychologist for when we arrive. Uh, I think both of them could use that.
