90s Cartoons Return! Beetlejuice, Animaniacs & Tiny Toons
It's a great time for 90s kids! And maybe late 80s kids too! Andre Meadows (Black Nerd Comedy) talks about [probably] your Saturday morning cartoon lineup-- Beetlejuice the animated series is coming to DVD, Tiny Toons will be finishing its DVD collection. Also, Animaniacs will be coming to DVD along with re-airing on The Hub.
What do we have to thank for this nostalgia rush? Probably the internet. Enough people online have made their wishes for the long-cancelled series they loved clear, so companies have finally gotten around to releasing them, and in the case of Animaniacs, re-airing them on broadcast. Fan outcry on the internet was enough to help get Futurama and Family Guy un-cancelled. That said, what cartoons are on your wishlist to return- be it on DVD/digital release, re-airing, or reviving the series?
I would like more Daria, Clone High, Batman Beyond, Justice League Unlimited and The Simpsons, Golden Era (In my opinion, season 2-9) return, but that's just me. Andre wants to see Fat Albert and something called Beverly Hills Teens (see the end of the clip for more on that). What's your take? Did we miss a brilliant series? Let us know!
