Troops from 9/12 Royal Lancers have been practicing their live firing skills on the Sennelager ranges in Germany recently, on Exercise Pashtun Hawk.

The regiment has recently become the first of its kind to take on the Warthog Armoured vehicle.

Under Army 2020 defence plans, the regiment will amalgamate with the Queen's Royal Lancers next year.

It is also facing a move back to the UK and has replaced its CVRT or Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance Tracked, with the Warthog.
