A Critical Thought on Jumping Mechanics
Today's Critical Thought looks at the complexity of jumping mechanics. While it may seem like a basic option for players, there is a lot that goes into it. I talked about the differences in free vs. locked jumping, and what happens to the level design when you change your jumping variables. We focused on 2D games, but there is more to talk about if we turn our attention to 3D titles.
