Holy cheese-wheel, Batman! A CALENDAR SHAPED LIKE THAT ONE ORIGAMI FIGURE YOU MADE ME AFTER I GOT MY FOOT STUCK IN A HOTDOG THAT WAS GROWN BY A TYRANNICAL GOPHER THAT WAS PLANNING TO SELL THE MOON TO A GALACTIC YAKUZA GROUP FOR FIVE-HUNDRED SPACE CREDITS SO HE CAN PAY OFF HIS BEER TAB THAT HE HAD OPENED FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND THAT HIS WIFE KEPT ARGUING WITH HIM ABOUT!!! OH AND AN ANIME REVIEW! Yes, an anime review, it's about damn time I finally got off my ass that was comfortably sitting on a pillow fort constructed by my sentient toe-nails that speak Spanish! Now if only I had my banjo, then we could really start this party on a high note. But anyway, ReLIFE came out with all its episodes, it was good, I finally felt like making an anime review after making game reviews of games that you might not have even heard or care about... but I care about them, SO YOU SHOULD CARE ABOUT THEM TOO!! WHY? Because... waffles. Who doesn't like a good waffle? They're good, especially after getting a spark-plug for your hover-chair that you spent more money on than it was actually worth! Feels great after that, but pro-tip when eating a waffle: Never buy the plastic versions! They're cheap and taste like plastic!
OH YEAH, RELIFE! So Summer had recently started in the world of anime, but that didn't stop this one from starting and finishing on the same day of release. The Netflix model can be a blessing and a curse (though the blessings are quite big). On one hand, you don't have to wait for a new episode to come out per-week and have control over the pace of the experience, but on the other, shows that benefited from having you wait a week (like Madoka Magica) don't really happen unless you do it yourself, kinda like having a cockroach having a menstrual period made of nuclear goo after it drank a cup of juffy-juice from the Carmendromeda Dimension; yes it's nuclear and can be sold on the alien black-market, but it can also be used as an energy source if you take the time to use it as such.
But going back to ReLIFE, so this is a high-school anime about high-school things with an adult character who turns back into a teenager. You'd think Zac Efron's lawyers would sue, but I don't think he actually owns that film and, even if he tried, the Federation Of The Mighty Nine would come to Earth and enslave it by beating mankind in an international-scale breakdancing competition. They already own six systems as it is and though I have a fully functional ship in my non-existent garage, the number of plasma cells in this galaxy wouldn't be able to haul no more than three people... that and the ship can only carry three people.
I'm gonna go back counting the number of hydro-tentacles on my organic fire-hydrant I bought while collecting these super special Avatar: The Last Airbender collectors cups from Venus, so sit back and enjoy this review... or not if it actually sucks.
