A Mix of Roguelike Deckbuilder with Tabletop RPG | Through the Thorns and Curses demo
4Hello everyone! We keep going with the demos from this Steam Next Fest. This is Through the Thorns and Curses, a turn-based game that mixes roguelike deckbuilder with tabletop RPG, although I am not sure what will be the main genre in the full release (full RPG campaign or roguelike levels?). Art is superb, I really really liked the background, drawing, animations, absolutely every visual aspect of the game. Sadly, the music was gone after the tutorial, which left a void in the game. Gameplay-wise I enjoyed it with a bit of suffering, because of the amount of curses the enemies start putting into your deck (me being used to curses working only for the combat). The game still lacks variety of card (makes sense considering it's a demo), so hopefully there will be more in the full release.
