A Super Mario Thing (ASMT) is a collaboration by the internet community Talkhaus. It's been criticized for unreasonable difficulty spikes and some bland level design, but I want to form my own opinion of it, so I'll be recording videos and leaving casual observations in the descriptions as I go through it. If it does become unreasonably hard, I may discontinue it- we'll see.

I'm not recording these blind- I just want to show the overworld events and so on.

Anyway, the title screen animation is pretty clever, and while I'm not really a fan of huge plot dumps at the start of Mario games, I can at least appreciate the writing. The overworld map music is great, too.
