The latest entry of the Luminous Avenger iX series has been released. I got access to a preview code and as an avid Gunvolt fan, I have produced some content.


So what's so hard about this one?
Everything you thought when playing through the game that made it easy are gone.
No level up to increase HP total (always 200 HP).
No healing skill at all, only checkpoints are source of healing.
LIMITED LIVES, when it hits 0, you'll go back to the level select menu!!
Enhanced bosses, usually have better attacks and have a different weakness to a certain weapon, so Vespa for example is no longer weak against Anchor Nexus.
No upgrades to purchase/use
Kudos meter will go down to 0 after taking a hit like the old games.



How to unlock it (SPOILERS)
Spoilers start:
1) Complete the first 9 stages by collecting all 4 emblem pieces.
2) Enter the final level and when scenery starts to change, jump down in one of the pits and find a secret passage to watch a secret cutscene and unlock hard mode.
