When you perform the empty party glitch in Red/Green (involving using the Potion at the beginning of the game with no Pokémon), typically it won't show any Pokémon. However, viewing the Trainer Card (depending on the obtained badges) will bring up some corrupted OAM menu sprites, because the CC5B buffer was previously overwritten (Trainer Card packet data in this case).

This also applies to any party with the 0xFF Pokémon on top (also including the English versions' 'M (FF)/Q (FF); as this is technically the case at the beginning of the game; just with 0 Pokémon. ^^
