The sky’s the limit at Semaphore Beach this long weekend as the Adelaide International Kite Festival takes flight.

After a gusty night on Saturday and some early showers on Sunday, winds eased and the conditions calmed, making for a busier turnout.

It was a family day as crowds enjoyed the colourful kite demonstration and the marketplace.

The festival will run again today from 11am at Semaphore Beach and foreshore.

Winds are expected to be relatively light today with a high of 21C forecast.
