Description:

Adol and Dogi arrive in the city/kingdom of Altago, only to be unfairly arrested by a corrupt knight. Fortunately, King Kiermarl bails them out and asks them to explore the nearby ruins and investigate the legends of the island of Altago landmass.

This game is the first to feature the party system and Flash Guard mechanics, but also ditches platforming mechanics. The skill system is based not on elemental magic, but on weapon-based techniques that consume SP, which can only be gained by using normal attacks and Flash Guard. Basically, it's a completely different beast from the Napishtim games.

Upon returning to the entrance, the party finds a large lizardman titano waiting to fight them. After winning, more lizardmen show up, but the Dragon Knights blast them to bits with their cannons. Unfortunately, the knights then arrest Adol for regicide. Adol is to be executed by a Titano, but he can delay his execution date if he wins.

Surprisingly, this boss isn't too bad despite Adol being severely nerfed and only having a Nadly Extract. The rolling attack is easy to Flash Guard and most of the attacks can be dodged fairly easily. However, approaching the boss can be difficult if it leaves too many mines on the field.

Unfortunately, Prime Minister Orbus tries to have Adol killed anyways, but Dogi and Geis arrive in time to bust the red hero out. Geis then leads the party to the hidden village of Iska, where your old party members are also gathered. Despite being a fugitive, Adol has to speak to the Five Great Dragons in order to fulfill his duty as the Dragon Warrior and save Altago from its imbalances.
