Description:

Adol and Dogi arrive in the city/kingdom of Altago, only to be unfairly arrested by a corrupt knight. Fortunately, King Kiermarl bails them out and asks them to explore the nearby ruins and investigate the legends of the island of Altago landmass.

This game is the first to feature the party system and Flash Guard mechanics, but also ditches platforming mechanics. The skill system is based not on elemental magic, but on weapon-based techniques that consume SP, which can only be gained by using normal attacks and Flash Guard. Basically, it's a completely different beast from the Napishtim games.

I recommend doing this before going to Ruins Island, since the boss is easier than the story bosses and it drops an item that allows HP regen indoors. You can flash guard, but it's not worth it when the boss is so slow anyways.
