Description:
Adol and Dogi arrive in the city/kingdom of Altago, only to be unfairly arrested by a corrupt knight. Fortunately, King Kiermarl bails them out and asks them to explore the nearby ruins and investigate the legends of the island of Altago landmass.
This game is the first to feature the party system and Flash Guard mechanics, but also ditches platforming mechanics. The skill system is based not on elemental magic, but on weapon-based techniques that consume SP, which can only be gained by using normal attacks and Flash Guard. Basically, it's a completely different beast from the Napishtim games.

In Segram Village, you'll meet Mustafa and Cruxie, and then temporarily recruit the former. He doesn't hit as hard as Dogi, but he has somewhat better defense and range.
You'll have to run past an overleveled Titano to get to the shrine, so be sure to control a faster character like Adol or Aisha to make it through safely.
Many places in the Flame Shrine will be blocked by lava, so avoid those until you beat the boss.

Unlike me, you really need to mash the flash guard button for his fire projectiles. Also, this is the last boss you can really juggle, so you may want to equip some juggle skills like Somersault.
Once you equip the Ice Mist Crystal, you can walk on lava, though you won't be able to be submerged in it.
